BISP 4th Quarterly Installment Has Been Resumed 2023-24
The Benazir Income Support Program released the BISP 4th quarterly installment on June 19 for poverty alleviation, which was meeting the campsites set up by the government, but the government closed these camps before Eid because of the heat. This work had to be done due to the deteriorating condition of the women who sought aid and the children who came with them.
BISP has resumed disbursements after the Eid holidays, and more than Rs 47 billion have been disbursed to more than 5.2 million deserving women. After the Eid holidays, this amount will no longer be received from Campside, but the distribution of installments has resumed through agents of banks appointed by the government.
So far under the Benazir Kafalat program, more than 9 million registered deserving families have been entitled to a quarterly installment of Rs 9000 thousand per household. The tranche of Benazir Income Support Program is being supported by Bank Al Falah and Habib Bank Limited(HBL) which has disbursed more than 81 billion rupees for distribution to deserving people through their retail distribution network.

Benazir Taleemi Wazaif
The Benazir Income Support Program has also announced scholarships for school children which they are giving to primary school, secondary, and higher secondary school children.
Apart from the Benazir Kafalat program, the Benazir income support program has released money for Benazir Taleemi Wazaif, but to get education scholarships, children have to ensure 70% school attendance.
The government is giving Benazir Taleemi Wazaif money to the parents of children who are already registered in the Benazir Kafalat program.

Eligibility Criteria
Following are the eligibility criteria for enrollment of children in Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program.
- Children of women with BISP kafalat
- For admission to primary education, the age limit of the child should be 4 to 12 years. Age limit of a child for admission to secondary education is 8 to 18 years.
- For admission to higher secondary education, the age limit of the child should be 13 to 22 years.
