Disable Persons are people who have a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term negative impact on their ability to perform daily activities.
Bait-ul-Mal was the department that dealt with the revenues and all other economic matters of the state. In the time of Muhammad( S.A), there was no permanent Bait-ul-Mal or public treasury. Whatever revenues or other amounts were received were distributed immediately.
During Prophethood, the last receipt was a tribute from Bahrain amounting to 800000 dirhams which was distributed in just one sitting. There were no salaries to be paid, and there was no state expenditure. Hence the need for the treasury in public
The level was not felt. In the time of Abu Bakr (R.A) as well there was no treasury. Abu Bakr (R.A) earmarked a house where all money was kept on receipt. As all money was distributed immediately the treasury generally remained locked up. At the time of the death of Abu Bakr (R.A), there was only one dirham in the public treasury.

What is Disabled Person?
Disabled Person is a program in which financial assistance is provided to disabled persons, that is, such disabled persons who cannot walk and cannot earn anything, are given financial assistance by the Government of Pakistan.

How to Apply Financial Assistance
- Application at PBM prescribed proforma along with a copy of valid CNIC.
- aa B-Form (in case of a minor)
- A Disability certificate or NADRA CNIC having a disability monogram.
How to apply Standard Wheelchairs
- Application at PBM prescribed proforma along with a copy of valid CNIC.
- aa B-Form (in case of a minor)
- a Disability certificate or photograph showing disability or a recommendation from a medical practitioner of a Government hospital or a recommendation of a Director (Medical)
- aa Senior citizens (age 60 or above)
