Waseela e Taleem Program aims to help disadvantaged families meet their basic needs including education.
A cash transfer program is a condition for the education of the children of the Active Sponsorship of Education beneficiaries up to the higher secondary level.
In order to receive additional cash stipends, sponsored women ensure their children’s enrollment and attendance in schools and colleges and discourage dropout rates.
Launching the Waseela e Taleem program is a good initiative by the government which has created awareness among the people to educate their girls.


Waseela e Taleem Objectives
The objectives of the Waseela e Taleem Program are as follows.
Ehsaas program aims to create awareness among the beneficiary families about the importance of primary, secondary, and higher education.
To discourage the school dropout rate and improve the school attendance of children.
To increase enrollment of school children for primary, secondary, and higher education.

Waseela e Taleem Program Social Awareness Movement
The aim of the social awareness movement through the medium of education is to highlight the importance of education among families benefiting from the Ehsaas program.
Under this program, various areas of the respective districts are visited to mobilize the beneficiaries of the aid schemes to enroll their children in schools.

The enrollment process is to identify potential families for Waseela Taleem Program among active households benefiting from the Ehsaas program.
Ehsaas Program establishes registration centers for this purpose at Tehsil offices and facilities.
Enrollment and attendance compliance through Waseela Taleem
Funding related to resource education is subject to compliance with school enrollment and attendance requirements for children from eligible families.
The purpose of compliance is to monitor children’s shared responsibility to entitle their families to receive cash through resource education, but non-compliance results in the withholding of cash transfers.

Identifying beneficiary children who have complied with the prescribed joint obligations regarding enrollment and attendance and entitle them to cash transfers.

Registration of Complaints
Grievance registration is a part of the program. Deserving families will register various types of complaints through Tehsil offices and prompt resolution of complaints will not only increase the confidence of the deserving families to enroll their children in school.
Tehsil Fathers of Ehsaas Program are responsible for the redressal of all grievances against labor.
Waseela e Taleem Eligibility Criteria
Following are the eligibility criteria for enrollment of children in Waseela-e-Taleem Program program.
Children of women who are actively entitled to support
- The age limit for a child for admission to primary education is 4-12 years.
- The age limit of a child for admission to secondary education is 8-18 years.
- The age limit for a child for admission to higher secondary education is 13-22 years.

Registration Process
In order to benefit from the program, the child must be admitted to a school or college in any district of the country.
- To enroll the child in the resource education program, the sponsored woman has to go to the enrollment camp office along with the child along with the following documents:
- Identity card of woman entitled to support
- Child’s B Form issued by NADRA
- School admission slip with class information and school name attested by a teacher.
- Verification of Form B from NADRA is mandatory for the enrollment of a child.

Shared Responsibility for Admission
Eligible children are registered and enrolled in the Active Ehsaas Family Program, which is a shared responsibility of parents and Ehsaas.
The first quarter stipend payment is issued based on the enrollment of the children in the school.
